It's official! Starting tomorrow, August 20, I begin a the program for a Master's Degree in Educational Technology at University of Texas-Brownsville.
I hope that this program will give me a better idea of how to design elements of the online website for Passport:ATX and to link me up with mentors and collaborators working in the fields of educational technology.
I am continuing to work on arranging meetings with Austin collaborators and applying for grants. The next one is A Glimmer of Hope (trying for the 3rd time! 9/30/08 deadline), as well as Echoing Green (December 2008 deadline for first round).

Hi, this is Allison from Breakthrough... I met you at an info session for A Glimmer of Hope. I just wanted to wish you good luck with your proposal and the project in general. I'll be keeping up with your blog to see how it goes. :)
